Classes and Workshops
For intermediate level painters. Learn this unique process of beginning a watercolor painting with a value or “grisaille” monotone underpainting and then splattering it! Then finish it by glazing with colorful “local” colors and optional final splatter. Requires advance preparation with your completed drawing brought to class ready to go. Teaching Artist, Sheila Newquist, has been recognized with awards for her “Values & Splattering” techniques. Sheila is represented by the Charlestown Gallery in Charlestown, RI. She is a member of the New England Watercolor Society, Rhode Island Watercolor Society, and several local art associations in RI.

Topics will be independent of each other, so you may attend any or all 3 sessions.
